Bio
Born in 1996 Isabella was raised in St. Albans in rural New South Wales. The stunning natural surrounds and historic nature of the area have become a running theme throughout her work. While always interested in drawing and painting she discovered her passion for clay during the first year of study at National Art School. After seeing a wheel throwing class being taught. She graduated her Batchelor of Fine Arts Majoring in Ceramics National Art School in Darlinghurst in 2018. Later she went on to complete her Masters of Fine Art in Drawing in 2020. She graduated both degrees with a number of prizes and awards.
Isabella had her first solo show in May of 2019 at Sabbia Gallery in Paddington. In addition to this she has been a part of many group shows at prestigious venues such as the Bondi Pavillon and Harvey Galleries Seafourth. Her writing has been featured in both the Australian Journal of Ceramics and Studio la Primitive Arts Zine which is collected by the state library of NSW.
Isabella now splits her time between her home in St. Albans and the inner suburbs of Sydney.
